Beekeeping is a natural and non-farm business enterprise that contributes significantly to the local economy and the national economy. Beekeeping produces a very powerful product on the market, while it is easier to adapt to small debt barriers and limited access to land than other agricultural activities. In this case beekeeping can be considered a reliable source of alternative income. Beekeeping can go a long way in boosting the economy of smallholder farmers in terms of food and income as well as profitable employment close to home. Beekeeping can help economically vulnerable communities achieve economic stability. Honey production, pollination services, agriculture, and forestry are just a few of the economic benefits of beekeeping. It has become very popular with smallholder farmers because farmers have turned to make money in various ways. Honey production is done because it provides social, environmental, economic and health benefits to rural communities and they receive the main attention of farmers. The poor in the rural areas who depend on subsistence farming and small farmland often rely on alternative livelihoods to support themselves. In such cases, beekeeping is often promoted in the context of rural development because the practice provides funding, nutrition, and social benefits to poor families, without the need for land ownership or large investment. Beekeeping can be done as an additional source of income for rural farmers and has been successfully implemented in poverty alleviation programs. Beekeeping plays an important role in the development of economic well-being in rural life. Beekeeping not only contributes to the livelihoods of rural communities but also protects trees and ultimately contributes to the protection of our planet. Beekeeping is environmentally friendly, requires few resources to start production, can be replenished soon after a crisis and the necessary skills are easily transferred from one generation to the next making it a sustainable livelihood strategy. Beekeeping does not require expensive equipment, as simple hives can be made with local materials by a local artesian. Beekeeping is a lucrative business. There is no negative impact on beekeeping in the environment. It is a different kind of business comparison from any other. If bee colonies are kept close to the field of mustard, sesame, litchi etc, then production increases with pollen transfer. It is estimated that the number of bees producing honey and beeswax is only a small part of their value as pollinators of plants. Large areas of mustard, sesame, litchi and many other crops / fruits are grown annually. Beekeeping should be a source of income, an additional source of income and a tool to reduce poverty by increasing people's purchasing power. There are about 33 districts where many plants / fruits are grown with nectar and pollen. These are a great source of honey production. In order to make full use of the nectar that eventually converts into the honey of these fruit plants / flowers, more bee colonies are needed in the country. So a potential business in Bangladesh. In order to increase this high beekeeping in rural areas, an awareness and training program should be developed. As, the price of the colony (Apis mellifera) is high for small and landless farmers. For that reason the project of colonization may be initiated by the Bangladesh Rural Development Board (BRDB) or NGOs. In order to, members of the BRDB or NGOs acquire the colony at low start-up costs. If possible, this business should be expanded nationwide as soon as possible. Distribution of the media can create potential entrepreneurs' enthusiasm for the beekeeping business
